Massie Lodge has superior facilities to care for your thoroughbred.

7 large paddocks, all steel fenced with electrification that will give your horses room to move and relax down after a tough preparation. 4 of these pasture-improved paddocks have self supporting dams that give your horse the opportunity to stretch out and have a swim.  Each paddock has it's own shelter, so protection from the weather is assured.

2 special need paddocks for horses that require medical attention or need to be kept in a small, safe area. Each area is equipped with a stable.

5 large day yards with stables and water supply for when your horse needs individualised attention.  These yards are located next to the homestead. Each yard has lighting, so 24-hour supervision can be given if required.

For Our Mares ...

We have special paddocks for our mare groups, where they can all live together and bond as a herd, which is an important aspect in the life of a broodmare.

For Our Youngsters...

We have paddocks specifically for our youngsters, once our foals have been weaned in our weaning barn, they are moved into their own paddock where they form close bonds with each other, a valuable support for each weanling during this period.
