We pride ourselves in our level of care of our mares - of your mares.

Specialised facilities ensure that our girls get top of the line attention during their pregnancy. Our veterinarian is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We also have specialised mare crush facilities to make sure that when the vet needs to see your mare, both the mare and foal are safe.

As pregnancies progress, Mares are moved closer to the homestead. 24 hour Mare watch is part of the service - each mare is carefully supervised during this important time.

Being on the Darling Downs on Queensland, we can organise a walk on facility for your mare to visit any of the major studs in Queensland.

Getting a mare ready for visiting a stallion is not a hit and miss business and our vet ensures that mares are spot on for visiting stallions.

Weaning

Goes hand and hand with foaling. Massie Lodge has safe facilities to ensure that neither mum nor bubs can come to any harm during this emotional process. Our weanlings are taught as a minimum to wear a halter, to lead and to get used to picking up their feet.

Yearlings

Safe paddocks to let yearlings take their time to grow up and mature means peace of mind for your investment. During this important time, our yearling's education continues.
